breakfast options is impressive. There is a pancake making machine, selection of fruit juices, lovingly prepared fruit bowls, yogurts, cereals, pastries, and croissants. The hot foods on offer are scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, potato bread and hash browns. What really made our breakfast was the vegetarian sausages which was a very welcome surprise. The breakfast team are superb and adhered strictly to the Covid-19 rules. Breakfast at Belmore Court and Motel was plentiful, great value and set us up for the day to explore Enniskillen centre and a selection of visitor attractions recommended on the motel website.
First on the list was Headhunters Barber Shop and Railway Museum on Darling Street, offering an outstanding range of railway memorabilia, a registered charity and very much worth a visit. After popping next door to the Jolly Sandwich for a coffee and tray bake we had admission into Enniskillen Castle Museum courtesy of Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism. We enjoyed a tour of the Museum and Castle grounds which was a first for us both. It was a fascinating experience. This was followed by a leisurely walk by the River Erne where we watched the boats and many happy visitors enjoying a relaxing day. We managed a little gift shopping at Fermanagh Cottage Industries on East Bridge Street, which had an amazing range of

craft gifts and Irish souvenirs. Finally, to complete our Enniskillen experience, we visited Fermanagh Fun Farm where we were introduced to all the wonderful animals. We made friends with Henry the popular goat and one very lucky pig called Darcey who is destined to become a movie star. The Fun Farm offers a hands-on experience for all animal lovers.
We had a wonderful stay at the Belmore Court and Motel. It surely is a hidden gem offering 4-star quality throughout all the services and top class facilities available. The motel is a family run business. There is a sense of that family feeling of belonging. You feel safe and you feel cared for by Terry’s great Team members who show pride in their work and love for their motel. What a delightful experience I had at The Belmore Court and Motel, it is truly the ideal base to enjoy a comfortable stay to explore Fermanagh.
It was then time to get a ‘wiggle on’ and hit the road to pick up the mad Springer and get back to reality! Next time we will plan a longer stay, and I will relax in that warm bath of bubbles with the built in TV and large glass in hand. We both had a thoroughly wonderful staycation at the Belmore Court and Motel and enjoyed our whistle stop tour of Enniskillen.
