1 . Product Overview : Multi-purpose EV battery discharger, VTD-100A (1/2)

VTD-100A is specifically designed and developed to test the efficiency of
Lithium-Ion batteries of any type, new or used, voltage and capacity. This
instrument allows for the precise measurement of large-capacity and high-
voltage Electric Vehicle (“EV”) batteries at a pack/module/cell-level as well as
batteries for stand-by and energy storage system (ESS). This discharger is
designed with auto-stop function to protect batteries and will power off when the

discharge cycle is completed.

Many of the batteries coming off the road are being used to evaluate a range of
options for reuse and recycling. Before batteries are recycled to recover critical
energy materials such as cobalt, graphite, lithium and manganese, reusing
batteries in secondary applications is a promising strategy.

This multipurpose instrument is the best choice for sorting and repurposing the
used lithium ion batteries for remanufacturing for reuse, disposing for recycle
and much more.

In order to re-manufacture or dispose the used EV batteries effectively, the core
is to check the accurate capacity of each battery pack/module/cell-level so that it
can be properly sorted and repurposed up to cell-level.

VTD-100A perform a controlled discharge of the battery automatically, while the
current is kept constant within the operating voltage range; this makes possible
to check accurate and reliable battery capacity.
The operation of the VTD-100A is completely automatic.
