We lead the industry and economy of Jeju
As one of the seven leading projects in Jeju Free International City, the Jeju Science
Park was promoted, then Jeju’s industrial structure oriented towards IT and BT and
the revitalization of local industries began to sprout.
Since 2011, when companies began to move in, the Jeju Science Park has actively
supported the growth of tenant companies with domestic and international networks
of JDC. We helped pioneer overseas markets and held events to promote the purchase
of products produced by tenant companies. We also provide various support for
administration and marketing such as corporate tax reduction and tax support.
Currently, 162 leading domestic and foreign companies, including Kakao, Eastsoft,
Dentium, and BMI Korea (December, 2019), have moved into the Jeju Science Park.
With a total of 2,600 employees, the park recorded annual sales of 3.3011 trillion won.
Jeju Science Park 2, which is scheduled to begin its construction in 2021, will also
improve industrial conditions in Jeju Island and serve as a driving force in creating jobs.
