Shinhwa History Jeju Island is home to myths and legends engraved in every village, valley, mountain
peak, and coast. JDC is promoting a project to create Shinhwa History Park that will
turn the myths, legends, and history of Jeju into tourism resources, including the
Park stories of more than 18,000 gods.

Myths and History Tourist Complex where visitors can enjoy the myths of the East and the West
Theme Park The Shinhwa History Park, spanning over the area of 3,985,601 square meters
(approximately 1.21 million pyeong) in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, with the aim of
opening the park in 2021, will be constructed under the theme of legends, myths, and
Shinhwa History Park
history of Jeju, Asia, and Europe.
Area A, R, and H will be developed into a resort complex (Jeju Shinhwa World)
for theme parks, hotels, and MICE facilities through foreign investment (Landing
Jeju Development), and district J will be built by JDC as a cultural theme park
containing the myths of Jeju. The mythology of Jeju will be provided to tourists and
provincial residents in the form of an interactive tourist destination to enhance their
understanding and interest.
