JDC is on course to transforming the existing Jeju Free International City into a
Peace Project “Jeju-style International City.”. During this course, JDC is promoting a peace project
to create a Jeju-style International City that fully reflects the environmental and
Peace Project ecological values of Jeju and the values of peace and human rights. Currently, JCD
is working with the Jeju 4.3 Peace Foundation to spread the peace ideology of Jeju
4.3, which is the core value of peace and human rights in Jeju, and is carrying out
various cooperation projects with various peace-related agencies in and out of the
province, including the International Peace Foundation, the Jeju International Peace
Center, and the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation. We will integrate
all our capabilities in the JDC-style peace project, where the value of peace and
human rights are alive and well, to build the “Jeju-style international city.”
