 VOLUNTEERING
 Here at CAV we have a volunteering policy in which all staff members get two days of paid leave per year to participate in volunteering activities. Employees are able to choose which charity they would like to support although they must not conflict with CAV's values. We encourage all employees to look out for places where they can volunteer in the local area. Time off for volunteering is to be agreed in line with business activity and details of the volunteer activity and confirmation from the charity where the work will be undertaken must be provided.

One of the first examples of the volunteering policy is when five members of our team headed over to Citizens House in Consett to help get them ready for a relaunch in September. Our staff were supported by two additional volunteers.
