Adults have reinforced %u2018Let%u2019s play%u2019 as a gestalt and building other phrases %u2018Let%u2019s play puzzle%u2019, %u2018Let%u2019s play hide %u2018n%u2019 seek%u2019. Child R was observed combining %u2018Let%u2019s play%u2019 with their own novel phrase %u2018Let%u2019s play Bert and Ernie%u2019 when looking at a book with the two puppet characters on the book cover.
