I can confirm that we have now successfully completed on the
acquisition of Harker and Bullman in Wimborne following the retirement of the previous owner.
“The new acquisition is a very well-established independent lettings agency that has been in business for close to 30 years and has an excellent reputation. We will be retaining the entire Harker and Bullman team who have a wealth of experience.”

Thirty ‘Goldin’ years
Temple Fortune agency, Alan Goldin Estates, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the estate agent held an open day for its customers and associates
to thank them for their continued support and showcase their latest properties.
The firm was established in 1992 when average house prices were around £55k and soon made its mark in the lettings business. With the average London house price now around £500k, the 35-44 age group is three times more likely to rent than 20 years ago, creating an all-time record demand for rental accommodation.
Since April 2021 when Alan
Goldin was acquired by property management and maintenance firm Home Minders, the business has benefitted from shared resources, facilities and staff, going from strength to strength. Earlier this year the company achieved Safeagent status. Managing Director, Paul Ruocco, said: “We’re very proud to have been at the heart of the local property scene for the last three decades and we look forward to further strengthening our capability to deliver first class residential lettings and sales.”

Matthew, who grew up in the area and currently lives in Bingley, has spent the last five years working in Shipley for a national estate agency chain.
Matthew said: “Moving to Dacre, Son & Hartley is an opportunity to join a leading independent estate agent that is very highly regarded in the local area and beyond. The Saltaire office also covers a wide geographical area, which makes this a role with plenty of potential, especially because there is so much demand in the market from homebuyers.”
Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley, which operates 20 offices across West and North Yorkshire, said: “Matthew brings both experience and good local knowledge to this role, which are both crucial attributes in a fast-moving property market, and we’re pleased to welcome him into
our team.
