Product overview
3 Installing the sensor
The flowcell is compatible with 3⁄4 in and PG13.5 sensors.
Installing the 3/4 in sensors
The 3⁄4 in sensors are installed in the flowcell using a compression fitting to hold the sensor.
1 Install the sensor into the flowcell until the sensor height is set by the shoulder in the flowcell.
2 Fully tighten the compression fitting.
Installing the PG13 .5 sensors
The PG13.5 sensors are installed in the flowcell using the captive O-ring on these sensors.
1 Connect the sensor into the PG13.5 adapter.
2 Connect the PG13.5 adapter into the flowcell.
Connecting to the process
1 Install the M6 screws on the mounting panel as required for
the flowcell configuration to be installed.
Refer to DS/ACL420 for flowcell dimensional drawings and mounting hole options.
2 Put the flowcell assembly onto the mounting screws.
3 Attach the process pipework to the inlet with 6 mm or 1/4 in
OD semirigid tubing.
4 Attach the outlet to the process/drain with 6 mm or 1/4 in OD semirigid tubing.
5 Turn the needle valve until the required flow rate is achieved.
6 Attach the sensor to the transmitter with an EZLinkTM cable.
7 If using the stirrer:
Attach the stirrer to the transmitter with an EZLink cable and adapter.
8 If using the float switch:
Attach the float switch to the transmitter digital input. Refer to OI/AWT420 for more details.
9 Continue with sensor commissioning. Refer to the sensor operating instruction.
