                  ARTIST SPOTLIGHT AUGUST 2022
WHITE
 NOISE. TEESSIDE
White Noise. are a Teesside band
made up of talented musicians Cameron
Young (vocals/guitar), Eddy Mason-Pooley (drums/production), Blaise Pickering (bass)
and Adam Bracchi (guitar). The outfit formed in
2018 after the four teenagers decided to start a
band and put their time, effort and passion into their creative work.Since then, they have come a long way, with their music evolving into the psychedelic indie epithet which they are often awarded for. Earlier this year, they won our very own NE Volume Music Bar’s first Battle of the Bands against thirty other local upcoming acts and cemented their place in Teesside’s original music scene. From there, they have gone on to play gigs at The Georgian Theatre, Westgarth Social Club, Sticky’s and more, and they also performed at our 7th-anniversary event in July. One of the main things that stands out with this band is how they are independently doing this at a young age, learning all the tricks and ways of the industry themselves, and taking all of the opportunities that have come their way in their stride. The four- piece have had multiple radio plays on BBC Music Introducing, with their debut single ‘Middle
Man’, and thousands of streams across all platforms with their second single, ‘Gallop’. The fact that the band are independently creating music themselves, and how far they have gotten within the music industry at such a young age, shows the future that
The young band
are proving to be a force to be reckoned with
is bright for them. With their singles ‘Middle
Man’ and ‘Gallop’, they have continued to
create a buzz across the region, with local
radio stations and magazines getting behind
them.Once you hear them via a streaming service,
or see them perform live, you can understand why they are getting the recognition they deserve. The four-some are ones to watch out for, as the young band are proving to be a force to be reckoned with. If you haven’t had the chance to catch WhiteNoise. live just yet, the band head to Westfest at Westgarth Social Club on Saturday 20th August, with more dates to be added to their gig calendar very soon.
