Parallel: Introduction
Many of these correlations are often missed because the Synoptic Gospel Theory is an error.
It tells us to dismiss the gospel of John as too different from its fellows. These differences result from
John being the shortest of the gospel records (rather than Mark); focusing more detail on specific
Hebrew calendar events. The gospel of John lines up with its fellow gospels more often than is
represented; with far broader deviations within each of the other gospels than is declared. Yet
magnificently for all their differences, all four canonical gospels colate together into a contiguous
chronicle about an epic seventy weeks in the life of Jesus Christ. Amazing!
