came, they supposed
that they should have
received more; and
they likewise received
every man a penny.
11. And when they had 10:31 18:30 11:16
received it, they mur-
mured against the
goodman of the house,
12. Saying, These last 10:31 18:30 11:16
have wrought but one
hour, and thou hast
made them equal unto
us, which have borne
the burden and the
heat of the day.
13. But he answered 10:31 18:30 11:16
one of them, and said,
Friend, I do thee no
wrong: didst not thou
agree with me for a
penny?
14. Take that thine is, 10:31 18:30 11:16
and go thy way: I will
give unto this last, even
as unto thee.
15. Is it not lawful for 10:31 18:30 11:16
me to do what I will
with my own? Is thine
eye evil, because I am
good?
16. So the last shall be 10:31 18:30 11:16
first, and the first last:
for many be called, but
few chosen.
17.¶ And Jesus going 11:16
up to Jerusalem took 32.¶ And they were in 31a.¶ Then he took unto
the twelve disciples the way going up to him the twelve, and
apart in the way, and Jerusalem; and Jesus said unto them,
said unto them, went before them: and
they were amazed; and
as they followed, they
were afraid. And he
took again the twelve,
and began to tell them
what things should
happen unto him,
