(c) What extensions of cover at additional premium
are available under this policy ?

Ans. Table A policies may be extended to cover Insured's
Liability for Contractor's workmen. Though, exception
b of the policy excludes the employees of the contractors
from the scope of cover, it can be covered under the
scope of the policy on the payment of additional
premium.

This extension is applicable only in respect to work
performed by the contractors for the insured in the
business and occupations covered by the policy.

Secondly, the extension applies only with regard to the
Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923, with subsequent
amendments prior to the date of issue of the policy.

The premium for this extension is calculated at the
appropriate tariff rate upon the total amount of the
contract, if the contract is for labour only; if the
contract is for both labour and material, the premium
is calculated upon the percentage of the full contract
price ; if however, the insured is able to furnish the
returns of the actual wages paid to contractor's
employees, premium is calculated upon the amount of
such wages.
