a) Specialized training - some jobs require intensive training and
specialized Hence. Chances of accidents are higher in such cases if
the task is n led by an under trained and under skilled employee.
b) Environmental exposure - some of the work environments have a
high amount of environmental exposure e.g. a nuclear plant, mines
etc.
c) Equipment used - in some occupations, employees have to use
specialized dangerous equipment as part of their job.
d) Material used - in some cases employees have to use explosive and
dangerous materials in their jobs.
e) Working conditions - improper working conditions such as working
at a -height for building construction workers, electricians. etc.
f) Physical requirements - some professions require certain levels of
physical fitness e.g. certain fitness levels required for aviation.
g) Location - location (city or country) as to where the individual is
employed also affects the mortality and morbidity risk.
