phases:
n Crisis phase
n Emergency response phase
n Recovery phase
n Restoration phase
Business continuity process
A Business Continuity planning process should reflect
following objectives:
n Business continuity planning is about maintaining, resuming
& recovering the business, not just the recovery of the
technology.
n Planning process should be conducted on an enterprise -wide
basis.
n Business impact analysis & risk assessment are foundation of
an effective BCP.
n The effectiveness of a BCP can only be validated through
testing or practical application.
