Bank of Baroda’s Association with Mumbai Traffic Police.

Bank of Baroda has been regularly handholding with Mumbai Police in their various efforts. Continuing with the same
spirit, the Bank handed over another tranche of -
90- barricades to Mumbai Traffic Police. This is in
addition to earlier tranche of -50-barricades
sponsored by the Bank in November, 2016. These
barricades will bedeployed by the Mumbai Traffic
Police at strategic locations BKC, Bandra, Santacruz
during the Janmashtami, Ganesh Ustav, Navrathri,
Mount Marry fair etc.

On the ocassion, Shri Rakesh Bhatia, General
Manager (Mktg., Corp. Comm. & WMS) praised the
role and contribution of Mumbai Traffic Police in
bringing a discipline on the busy roads of the vibrant
city.

United Bank of India expands its Wing at Kolkata
United Bank of India, a leading public sector bank in India, opened its 2054th Branch at Mukundapur, Opposite Purba
Jadavpur Police Station, Kolkata, West Bengal on 28.06.2017. With opening of
this Branch the total Branch Network of the Bank in the state of West Bengal
stood at 866. The Branch was inaugurated by Sri. Pawan Kumar Bajaj, MD &
CEO United Bank of India. Smt. Sunanda Basu, General Manager and Sri Anurag
Srivastava, DGM & Chief Regional Manager, Kolkata South Regional Office were
present on this occasion of Branch Inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri. Bajaj said - Kolkata has been witnessing a spurt
in residential growth particularly in the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass area. A
lot of Residential projects, Shops and Establishments, Business Hubs, Industries
and infrastructural developments are coming up in the E.M. Bypass area. Such
upsurge has resulted in broadening of banking needs of the people in the locality.
Opening of UBI, Mukundapur Branch is aimed towards catering the banking
need of the people in the locality along with facilitating economic growth and
development of the area.
The branch will be equipped with all technology based modern banking products
like United Debit Card, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, United Wallet, Unified
Payment Interface etc to provide banking convenience and one stop banking
solutions to the customers. Branch will cater to the retail needs of customers
in form of extending Housing Loan, Car Loan, Mortgage Loan, Personal Loans,
Current Account, Savings Account, Retail Term Deposit and also finance to MSME and Mid Corporate Sector.
