(iii) A formula for ascertaining the liability for
any loss.
(g) Departmental Clause - If the business be
conducted in departments, the independent trading
results of which are ascertainable, then the loss can
be calculated as per the specifications ,separately
for each department affected by the damage. But
average is applied if the sum insured is less than the
aggregate of the sum produced by applying the rate
of Gross for each department of the business to the
relative annual turnover.
Memo 1 : If during the Indemnity Period, goods are
sold or services are rendered elsewhere than at the
insured premises for the benefit of the business, the
money paid in respect of such sales or services are
to be taken into account in arriving at the Turnover
during the Indemnity Period.
Memo 2 : If any Standing Charges of the business
is not insured by the policy, then in computing the
