(e) All concrete structures and buildings and tanks
should be adequately protected against lightning
hazard.
(f) Satisfactory preventive plant inspection procedures
and maintenance practices should be in force to
ensure safe operating conditions.
(g) All tank storages should be in accordance with the
Indian Petroleum Rules, wherever applicable.
Appropriate Warranties are to be inserted
wherever required to ensure compliance with the
requirements.
(iv) Applicability to Plants and Tank farms -
Additional warranties applicable to Plants are:
(a) The premises in which the plant is situated is
enclosed completely from all sides by fencing and/
or boundary walls.
(b) All roads essential for fire fighting around plant, tanks,
storage area and utilities are of a minimum of 6m.

(c) The process in operation is a proven process with
adequate experience in commercial production
beyond pilot plant stage.
