Employees of owner of motor vehicle like driver,
conductor, ticket checker etc. are covered as per
Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923.
Though occupants of a car are not required to be covered
as Third Party under compulsory insurance provisions
of the MV Act, under Motor Package Policy as the
wording is wider than that required under the MV Act
to cover "occupants of the vehicle" insurance Company
liable to pay compensation (SC 2009) Bhagyalakshmi
Vs. United India Ins. Co. Ltd).

A Driving Licence is an official document certifying that
the holder is suitably qualified to drive a motor vehicle
or vehicles. Under the provisions of the Motor Vehicle
Act, 1988. in India, no person can drive a motor vehicle
in any public place unless he holds a valid Driving
Licence issued to him, authorising him to drive a vehicle
of that particular category.
In India, two kinds of Driving Licences are issued:
