photographs initialed and dated.

v) Reinspection - Reinspection of the vehicle
after repair should be done by a surveyor
other than the final surveyor who assessed
the loss.

vi) Verification of bills - To ensure the
accuracy and bonafides, bills submitted by
the insured should be scrutinized by the
surveyor.

vii) Salvage - In small losses, fair value of
salvage should be deducted from the assessed
loss. Where salvage is collected it should be
disposed off immediately. Perfect record of
Salvage should be maintained.

viii) Review of Pending Claims - Periodical
review of pending claims should be done. If
the claims are pending for compliance from
insured, noticed should be given to comply
within a stipulated time.
