A very interesting Success Story from Ernakulam- Kerala about a Newly Joined TM- Ms. Neha Singh and emerging
SO- Vishnu Gopinath. During my interaction with them both I got some inputs that every success story has- INTENT.
The one thing that was common in both the TM and SO was the INTENT to Succeed.
This happened in Nov 2022 when Ms Neha Singh joined SUD Life as TM. To tell about her she is born and brought up
in Delhi and can speak in English and Hindi. She has 1yr experience in Life Insurance with a competitor. As soon as
she joined, she started visiting branches.
She selected the 3 Star and 4 Star branches and started meeting BMs. 1st meeting was all about getting
introduced and building rapport and that is what she did in YTD inactive Branch- Marine Drive Branch, Ernakulam.
At the end of day one BM gave her a Lead and asked her to connect with that NRI customer. Neha arranged for a
Teams meeting with the customer. During the interaction with the customer Neha understood only the lady was
working in Gulf and her husband was in India. The Lady was very much interested as she had wanted to invest for
her children’s future. She suggested Neha to connect with her husband and take it forward. So the husband was
requested to come to the Branch. The BM was observing all these interactions with the wife and the husband. The
first closing happened with two 5 Lakh of Fortune Royale.
Upon seeing the professional approach that Neha exhibited the BM got impressed and started to give more leads.
This is not the end to the success story, the story continues with Vishnu, the Sales Officer, in Najarakal Branch and
South Chittoor Branch. Vishnu being in the system for 1 year plus had created a good rapport in both these
branches. The Rapport was not only with the BM but with the entire branch. He is considered as part of the Bank
staff in both these locations. He takes part in all banking activities like Recovery, Loan sourcing etc and that helped
him to get small business for SUD Life from these branches. With Neha joining as TM, moulded him and meeting
these BMs with HNI closing aspiration. Because his face is known to the BMs & customers of the branches, both
were all set in the field to explore Big Ticket sales. The total EPI_S that Vishnu and Neha closed in Nov alone was
1.07CR. And together they closed the Calendar year with 2 MDRT Branches and 1 2X MDRT Branch. So out of 4
Mapped Branches Vishnu emerged as a STAR performer with this Achievement. They both qualified for the highest
monthly Campaign reward- Trip to Singapore, Vishnu got the highest slab in the Q3 incentive also looking forward
to a good Annual Payout Incentive Program. The Success Story Continues with this duo.
Working and Driving with INTENT will take each one to great heights.

With this motto, I decided that I will target Scale 3 and 4
branches, and a few promising YTD Inactive branches
(Out of which one was Marine Drive Branch), and initiate a
relationship with the respective branch managers. The key
to gaining trust of our banking partners is good
relationship management skills and then delivering on our
promise of closures and issuance while maintaining
excellent customer service.
