Ans.a) The various heads under which the hospitalisation
expenses incurred are reimbursed are the
following:
(i) Room, boarding expenses in the hospital or nursing
home.
(ii) Nursing expenses.
(iii) Surgeon, Anaesthesia, Medical Practitioner,
Consultants, Specialist Fees.
(iv) Anaesthesia, Blood, Oxygen, Operation Theatre
Charges, Surgical Appliances, Medicines and Drugs
Diagnostic Materials, X-Ray, Dialysis,
Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, Cost of Pacemaker,
Artificial Limbs and cost of Organs and similar
expenses.
Ans.B) (i) Mediclaim and Jan Arogya Policy -Mediclaim
policy is designed to provide reimbursement and
domiciliary hospitalisation expenses for illness or
disease suffered for any accidental injury sustained
