(viii)Convalescence (not a disease), general debility, run
down condition or rest cure, congenital (disease from
birth, hence pre-existing) external disease, or
defects or anomalies, sterility, venereal diseases
(excluded on grounds of public policy), intentional
self injury and use of intoxicating drugs/alcohols
(excluded on grounds of public policy), are all
excluded.
(ix) AIDS (since it does not have any known treatment).
(x) Charges incurred at Hospital or Nursing Home
primarily for diagnostic, X-Ray or laboratory
examinations studies inconsistent with the treatment.
This is excluded to discourage the insured to undergo
any diagnostic tests just to take advantage of the
policy.
(xi) Expenses on vitamins and tonics unless forming pat
of treatment for injury or disease, as certifies by the
physician.
(xii)Treatment arising from or traceable to pregnancy,
childbirth including Caesarean section (unless
maternity benefit is covered).
