Ans. The common features of shopkeepers and
household insurance covers are :
A. (i) Loss of or damage to buildings or contents whilst
contained in insured premises by (1) Fire, lightning,
explosion of gas in domestic appliances.
(ii) Bursting and overflowing of water tanks.
(iii) Aircraft or articles dropped there from.
(iv) Riot, Strike and Malicious Act.
(v) Earthquake, Subsidence, Landslide
(vi) Flood, Storm, Tempest.
(vii)Impact damage by any rail or road vehicle or
animals.
