was so careful and extra vigilant with his own Head of Credit Department
and could not take a risk which was actually not a risk at all, then I also
needed to save myself from any risk of possible lapse in processing of
loan proposals. Many had already scared me on the perils of being in
credit department.

This incident was a turning point in my life to be extra vigilant always.
This proved to be a blessing in disguise at very opportune time when I
had just started working there.

Insights from the episode

1. A lesson of vigilance was learnt the easy way.
2. Be prepared for unintended consequences of any act. It may be a
turning point for the better.
