           He was very happy that the Bank Manager and the Loan Officer took so
           much interest and attached so much value to them.


           And surprisingly within a period of another six months to one year, we
           got additional deposits of around Rs 10 lakh from these two brothers.
           Perhaps, they wanted to test whether the urbane looking officers of the
           bank valued their customers from the farming community or not.
           Customers are human beings and need recognition that motivates them
           for continued relationship with a particular bank.

           Insights from the episode
           We should win trust of our customers to prove that we value them. They
           would value our trust and give more business as happened in the above
           case.
