Advantages of the U.S. political system:

• The division of power among free
branches of government (legislative,
executive, judicial) and among multiple
layers of government (national, state,
city, etc.) means it is impossible for a
person to become a dictator of the
country. So, it prevents the government

to become too powerful.

• “Congress shall make no law

respecting an establishment of
religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof...”. The
Establishment Clause of the
Constitution prevents religious
doctrine or laws from being imposed
by the government. In other words,
people can create, enjoy, and
practice any religion they wish.

• I consider the biggest advantage of the
U.S. political system that people feel
free in their country, in their
communities. This freedom gives them
even a bigger motivation to be patriotic.

And this patriotism was mainly born,
because the government gives power
to the states, which makes the people
feel closer to their country and more
involved in the government.
