Insurance benefits

Axicom provides employer paid group insurance cover outside of the
Asgard Employee Superannuation plan for eligible employees. See the

separate information booklet for benefit details.

The Axicom | Asgard super plan also offers insurance cover however this
is available only upon application. You can apply to top up your level of
insurance within your super account. The following types of insurance cover

are available within Asgard Employee Superannuation product:

• Death / Life Insurance - a lump sum paid to your
beneficiaries or estate in the event of your death, in
addition to your super balance

• Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance – a
lump sum paid into your super account in the event you
suffer Total and Permanent Disablement
• Salary Continuance Insurance (SCI - also known as
income protection) - replaces part of your earnings if
you can’t work due to sickness or injury.

Applying for cover

If you wish to apply for insurance cover within your
Axicom | Asgard super plan you may need to provide
medical evidence.
You can also decrease or cancel your insurance cover at
any time, however if you wish to increase or re-instate it
again you may need to provide medical evidence.
