The Authorized (King James) Version of A.D. 1611 is four hundred years old!
Four hundred years old and the AV 1611 remains the final authority for Bible-believing Christians and
Bible-believing churches! This alone is a testimony to the fact that it is the very word of God and not just
another translation. God chose the perfect AV to spread throughout the world by the hand of the British
Empire and the USA, which have dominated the world from the days of Queen Elizabeth unto this date.
The English people have dominated the world in these times because they followed, as a majority, the
AV. All the national revivals n the USA such as the First Great Awakening, the Second Great Awakening,
and the revivals of Billy Sunday have come from the AV 1611 text being preached and followed. It has
influenced people of all cultures and classes for the cause of righteousness. The AV 1611 has blessed us
religiously and has also influenced our literature. The AV has been the Holy Bible of every English-
speaking nation on earth for three centuries. Yea, four centuries have passed and it is still the final au-
thority in Bible-believing churches even in this day of apostasy.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and
abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass wither-
eth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word
which by the gospel is preached unto you.” 1 Peter 1:23-25
