We decided to bring as a witness the story of

Giulio Regeni, an Italian journalist undergoing

training at Cambridge University, who was in

Cairo to describe the difficult situation,

particularly in the labor sphere, after the

Egyptian revolution in 2011. He followed up a
number of articles, sometimes written under

pseudonyms, was kidnapped (2016) and, after

being tortured, killed. Still today we don't have

any kind of evidence from the Egyptian

government, so that, even nowadays, there
Giulio Regeni have been numerous disagreements between

the Italian and Egyptian Grand jury.
