P. 42

Assign each group to discuss either the benefits or challenges of coliving.

Instruct groups to brainstorm and write down their ideas.

Reconvene as a whole class and have each group share their findings.

Facilitate a class discussion to compare and contrast the different perspectives on coliving.

Step 4: Exploring Coliving Spaces (15 minutes)

Present a slideshow or provide visual examples of coliving spaces.
Guide students in identifying the key features and design elements of coliving spaces.

Discuss how these features contribute to the overall coliving experience and foster a sense of
               community.

Encourage students to share their own thoughts and ideas about the presented coliving spaces.

Step 5: Analyzing the Impact of Coliving (20 minutes)

Introduce the concept of impact assessment and its relevance to coliving.
Divide students into small groups and assign each group a specific aspect of impact to explore
               (e.g., social, economic, environmental).

Instruct groups to research and discuss the potential positive and negative impacts of coliving
               in their assigned aspect.

Each group presents their findings to the class, followed by a whole-class discussion to
               synthesize the information.

               Step 6: Project-Based Activity (30 minutes)
Explain that students will now apply their knowledge and critical thinking skills to design a
               project-based activity related to coliving.

Provide guidelines and criteria for the project, such as promoting sustainable practices,
fostering social inclusivity, or addressing specific urban challenges.

Allow students time to brainstorm, plan, and develop their project ideas in small groups.
Each group presents their project idea to the class, explaining the rationale behind their

choices and the potential impact of their activity.

Step 7: Reflection and Conclusion (10 minutes)

Engage students in a reflective discussion about what they have learned.
