Michael Caffey
Member: Razorback ACT Chapter #117 Nominated for: Vice President
Joined ACT Razorback 117 after being hired full time at the 189AW Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. Took on position of Chapter Safety Officer to ensure that all applicable safety regulations and instructions were followed by Management.
When the Chapter Chief Steward position came up for election I was elected to the position. Served in that capacity until the Chapter President position came up for election. During my term as Chief Steward I assisted in the renegotiation of the ACT Razorback 117 Contract with Arkansas TAG. In addition during that time I was able to settle multiple disputes between Technicians and management.
During my term as Chapter President I was the Chief negotiator for ACT 117 during the 2017 merging and negotiation of the Arkansas ACT 117/131 Air National Guard contract negotiation. As Chapter President I have had extensive experience negotiating between management and the Technicians in the 189AW as well as solving disputes and local and TAG level.

VICE PRESIDENT
Eugene Fuehrer Member: Cornhusker Chapter #88 Nominated for: Vice President
Eugene joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in January 1997, where he joined as a welder and machinist in a maintenance Company. He then became a welding tech. in Sept 2003 and is still employed at the CSMS in Lincoln NE. Then was deployed to Iraq in June 2004.
Gene Is still serving in the Nebraska Army National Guard with over 21 years. He also is a DAV life member and Legion member for 20 years. Also retired with over 15 years as a Fireman/EMT helping people in time of need.
Gene has been a member of ACT for over 10 years, He started as a steward, became Vice President of Army affairs, then severed as SGT of Arms and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Cornhusker Chapter 88 in Nebraska. He loves every day of his job. It allows him to continue to represent and assist Technicians, and Civil Service employees in a much bigger arena. He takes pleasure in making himself available for anyone that has a question or needs assistance.
Gene has 3 amazing kids, 22 year old son who is a mortician and 2 beautiful daughters both 9 years old who are very active and love dance. Gene enjoys many outdoor activities, camping, big game hunting, fishing, working outdoors and taking a road trips on his motorcycle.
Gene looks forward to being selected as Vice President at a National level with ACT, and is determined to help all current employees, and future ACT members. He is committed in assisting with organization of being bigger better, and stronger in its membership the best way possible.
