Find the diagonal of the given below square, if the diameter of the circle is 20cm
Area Calculation
Area (symbolized A) is a two-dimensional quantity representing amount or extent of surface. The
standard unit of area in the International System of Units (SI) is the meter square (m2).
The Formula to calculate area is,
A = L X B
A= Area, L= Length, B= Breadth
Example: What is the area of this rectangle, all dimensions are in m?
The formula is:
Area = L × B L= Length, B=Breadth
From fig. L=5m and B=3m, so:
Area = 5 × 3 = 15 Sqm.
