After finishing a distant eighth in her stakes debut, Elenorr came back more than two years later on the same track and scored her first-ever stakes victory, winning the $51,760 Ontario Sires Stakes Derby at Ajax Downs on Sept. 2.
Under Cassandra Jeschke, she broke well from the inside starting gate, led by 3/4-length at the first call, and widened her advantage to 1 1/4-lengths by the time she reached the stretch to cross the wire with the same lead. They completed the 350 yards in :17.710 for a 97 speed index
The filly now holds four wins in eight lifetime starts. This marked her second career stakes attempt.

Elenorr brought home the $20,704 winner’s share of the Ontario Sires Stakes Derby purse, boosting her cumulative earnings to $46,557. She is owned and trained by Scott Reid.
Reid bred the filly out of 4-time winner Squincheyes, dam of 2 starters/winners, including Albertt, who was 2nd in the 2017 Alex Picov Memorial Championship. Elenorr is her first stakes winner.
