The mare’s foals include Thermonuclear Energy, winner of this year’s Charger Bar Handicap-G1, 2018 California Breeders Matron Stakes-G3 and Ivan Ashment Handicap, 2017 Las Damas Handicap-G3 and 2015 Los Alamitos Juvenile Stakes.
Symbol Of Faith (Tac It Like A Man- Answer The Dream), bred and owned by J. Garvan Kelly, Nancy Yearsley, and J. Lloyd Yother, was outfinished at the wire and ran second under jockey Carlos Huerta. Juan Aleman trains the filly, who was second in last year’s Rainbow Futurity Juvenile and was a finalist in the Golden State Million Futurity-G1 and Heritage Place Futurity-G1.
Dr. Steve Burns’ homebred Stel A Gambler (Stel Corona-Baccarat Bar) finished third under Jonathan Roman for trainer Mike Casselman. Stel A Gambler also ran third in the 2018 Autumn Handicap.
You Caught My Eye (Favorite Cartel- Hawk Kue Pie), No Telling (Walk Thru Fire- How Good), Anas Image (Hawkinson-City Image), Favorite Wise Lady (Favorite Cartel- Another Wise Lady), Jess Motions (Apollitical Jess-Royal Motions) and Always Dreaming (Run Away And Hide TB-Fovee) completed the order of finish. Selective was scratched.
