Incluso por instrucción de los jueces hubo que darle un trabajo extraordinario en la pista una semana antes de las carreras elimi- natorias para que autorizaran su inscripción y participación en el futurity”, manifestó el señor Rabanal. “Nos gustó su desempeño en la prim- era etapa, pero en la segunda fue realmente sobresaliente” concluyó.
La potranca, que originalmente se llamó Danny Spana, nació en Sinaloa, en el criadero de Cuadra La Presita, y presentada en la Subasta Selecta de Añales 2014 donde se cotizó en 90 mil pesos ($6,923 US, aproximada- mente). Es hija del semental Danny Cartel en La Chuchena, descendiente de This Snow Is Royal. Danny Cartel fue tercero en el Golden State Derby G1 y finalista en el Independence Day Handicap, ganador de 45,653 dólares.
En el récord de La Chuchena no aparecen carreras oficiales, pero se sabe que participó en parejeras en el Estado de Sonora, México, con buenos resultados.

At Fair Meadows, he won the Cherokee Nation Stakes on July 26, 2014, his main achievement in the U.S., which reported earn- ings of $11,730. Now he takes this victory in the AMCCCCM Clasico, which represents 166,500 pesos (approximately $11,100) to
his total earnings. He was saddled by trainer Everardo Flores.

The Classic Mexican Association of Breeders and Horsemen of Quarter Horses, A.C. (AMCCCCM for its acronym in Spanish) is open to runners of this breed, three years or older, whose owners made timely and appro- priate payments in order to participate. It runs at 400 yards and is part of the Mexican Triple Crown. On this occasion, there were enrolled 10 participants with a prize of 277,500 pesos (US $18,500). The event took place on May 24 at the Hipodromo de las Americas.
An integrated group with some notable individuals took the track highlighted by
BP Southern Wave, winner of the Clasico Easily A Possum, the first jewel of the Triple Crown, and forming an entry with Spit Curl Trey, a debutante in Mexico; as well as Loose Teller, first in the Quarter Horse Juvenile Championship in 2014; Jesus On The Loose, winner of the National Championship Dia del
Charro; and A Remarkable Perry, who was also crowned in the Jodys Glory Classic, to name the most prominent.
The race was messy for the five
occupants in the central positions,
with BP Southern Wave taking the
worse of it after being hit by Vals Oak and bump- ing Miss Chicks Perry, almost losing his balance. Oblivious to this confusion from position 7,
Spit Curl Trey broke off under the guidance of Jose Angel Ambrosio and began a meteoric and successful attack that moments later led to the winner’s circle after exhausting the 400 yards in 19.66 seconds for a 93 speed index.
Thus, the three-year-old sorrel gelding suc- cessfully debuted in Mexico and gave Cuadra (racing team) Zamarrero the second jewel of the Triple Crown (the first was won by BP Southern Wave to the same racing team). His
