Shirley Wheeler’s homebred Hotwiredotcom APHA (CRM Livewire- Iwilliewantarunner QH) finished fourth but was moved up to third upon the disquali- fication of third place RP Deans Livewire APHA to ninth for lugging in. Larry Payne rode Hotwiredotcom for trainer Guillermo Valdivia. In addition to his second in the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity, Hotwiredotcom also won the Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1. The gelding won his trial heat by 1 1/4-length and was the fifth fastest qualifier.

MKP On The Wagon APHA (PYC Paint
Your Wagon QH-Born Kool) and RP Deans Livewire APHA (CRM Livewire-RP Miranda Dash) and Sixth-place finisher Kiowas Success APHA (Cartel Success QH-Miss Dashin Image) was also disqualified for interference and placed 10th.
