She raced at Quarter Horse tracks in 1953, earning her ROM and winning one of three starts with two seconds.
Baloma is the dam of Grand Wizard, who raced an incredible 220 times from 1958 to 1970, winning 47 races with 35 second places and 36 thirds. He won four stakes races, including the Lafayette Stakes and John Alden Handicap, and earned $222,321. Grand Wizard is by Poised, a son of Equestrian, and out of Momentum by Boojum. Equestrian is also the sire of Top Deck, who is out of a daughter of Chicaro.

and Baloma, making her a full sister to Grand Wizard. Balumba was the winner of one race in four starts, earning $1,040. Her AQHA produce record shows that she was the dam of 12 foals, 11 starters, seven ROM and 2 stakes winners. One of her stakes winners was Double Poised by Double Devil, winner of the 1977 Delta Downs Distance Series #1 at 550 yards.
