WALK THRU FIRE
We will start the pedigree history
of Heza Dasha Fire with his sire, Walk Thru Fire. Walk Thru Fire was bred by a partnership between the Vessels Stallion Farm and the Allred Brothers. The Vessels Stallion Farm, founded by Frank Vessels Sr., would be an arm of the Los Alamitos Race Course founded by the senior Vessels. Vessels would begin this famous breeding program through both stallions and mares. He would add the great Do Good to
his breeding program. It was Do Good’s daughter, Chicado V, that nicked with
Three Bars to produce the likes of Triple Chick and Three Chicks.
The stallions that Vessels brought in would include the great racing World Champions Clabber and Go Man Go, as well as the Thoroughbred Anchor Watch. These stallions would give the Vessels Stallion Farm such noted stallions as Clabber II, Duplicate Copy, Tiny Charger and Tiny Watch.
Frank Vessels Jr. took over after the death
of Frank Vessels Sr. He would bring the Thoroughbred Beduino into the program. First Down Dash would be added to the program by Millie Vessels, the wife of Frank Vessels Jr. after he passed away. Millie and their son Scoop would not only keep the farm going, but build on it through Beduino and First Down Dash.
Beduino would go on to be the all-time leading Thoroughbred sire of money earning Quarter Horses with his foals earning $13,099,594 on the track. Beduino is the #2 all-time leading Thoroughbred broodmare sire of Quarter Horse money earners. His maternal grandget have earned $28,167,257. The leading money winner out of a daughter of Beduino is Dash Thru Traffic, winner
of $1,056,943. Dash Thru Traffic is sired
by First Down Dash. Our first look at an important nick in our industry.
Beduino was sired by Romany Royal, who was a race winner of two of 28 starts. The
