Moon and, thus, we have made the con- nection of Your First Moon and her taproot mare Do Good through this famous tail female line.
DO GOOD AND INBREEDING
The sire of Do Good was St Louis by
a Thoroughbred named Eck Davis. The dam of St Louis was Old Flossie, who
was sired by Baby and out of Old Dutch. The breeding on Old Dutch is unknown. The dam of Do Good was first called Little Flossie, but the AQHA registered her as Flossie. The sire of Flossie was Duggan by Baby. The dam of Duggan was Old Flossie by Baby. This makes Do Good inbred to Old Flossie with a 2 X 3 breeding pattern and a 3 X 3 X 4 breeding pattern to Baby.
The dam of Flossie was Old Floridene, who was sired by Harmon Baker. The dam of Old Floridene was Little Dutch by Clay McGonigal. Little Dutch was
out of Old Dutch, who was the dam of Old Flossie. Thus, Do Good has a 3 X 4 X 4 breeding pattern to Old Dutch. Do Good was an inbred mare. This pedigree was taken from the AQHA registration application for Do Good.
