Next on the list is Fly Thru The Fire by Walk Thru Fire, winner of the 2016 City of Hialeah Stakes. He was second in three more 2016 stakes, including the Sam Houston Classic Handicap-G2. His earn- ings total $138,035.
Carne Vino is the next stakes winner
on this mare’s money earning list. Sired
by First Down Dash, he is the winner of
the California Breeders’ Sprint and has earned $88,805. The next stakes winner
JM Specialwynn by Walk Thru Fire, who
is the winner of $87,773 including a first
in the All American Juvenile Invitational. The sixth stakes winner for this mare is Wrap You Up, who earned $71,630 winning the 2015 Evergreen Park Derby Challenge, Portland Meadows Bonus Challenge, and Sun Downs Distaff Challenge.
Babe On The Fly traces in her tail female line to Woven Web TB, or Miss Princess as she was known on Quarter Horse tracks. Woven Web TB, as Miss Princess, held
the old AQRA and now AQHA World Championship titles in 1946, 1947 and 1948. She was foaled on the famous King Ranch
of South Texas in 1943. She was the product of the King Ranch Thoroughbred breeding program that bred such greats as 1946 Triple Crown winner Assault, who was the 1946 Horse of the Year, while Miss Princess was the AQRA World Champion in 1946.
Woven Web TB started her race career in Mexico as a two year old. She raced six times south of the border and she won four of them. She was the winner of the Camponato De Potrancas and was second in the Camponato De Juvenil. While in Mexico, she ran 2 1⁄2-furlongs in a World Record time of 27 1/5 seconds, as well as two 440-yard races in 22 seconds - setting and then equal- ing her own track record for the distance
Woven Web TB, under the name
Miss Princess, won many stakes, includ-
ing the Del Rio Derby, Eagle Pass Derby, General Wainwright Sweepstakes, World’s Championship at Tucson, and Quarter Mile Championship at Rillito. Her most famous race was with Shue Fly, another 3-Time World Champion. Miss Princess won the race and went down in history as the mare that defeated Shue Fly.
The records show that Miss Princess set nine track records at three different tracks running from 330 yards to 440 yards.
She also set one world record and equaled another world record, both at 440 yards.
Miss Princess was retired and bred to Depth Charge to produce Baloma, who

was a pretty speedy race mare in her own right. She went to the Fair Grounds in New Orleans at the age of two and set a World Record for two year olds going 440 yards in :21.4 in the Debutante Stakes where she won by 8-lengths. She came back a week later and won the John’s Joy Stakes going the 440 yards in the same time.
Baloma was the dam of winner Balumba by Poised. She was the dam of 12 Quarter Horse foals with seven ROM, including Double Poised by Double Devil. This horse was a stakes winner that won 30 of his 149 races, running to the age of 11, including the Delta Downs Distance Series #1 at 660 yards.
Cash Balance was the 1980 daughter
of Balumba and Dash For Cash. This
mare failed to earn a ROM but went to the broodmare band where she was the dam of nine starters with eight ROM and four stakes winners. Her son, Six Figures by Streakin
Six, was a finalist in 15 stakes races all at
870 yards, winning two of them and placing second or third in six more. His stakes wins were in the QHBC Marathon Classic-G3 and El OCHO Setenta Handicap-G3.
Fabulous Figure is a full sister to Six Figures. This mare was a five-time stakes winner in the E.T.R.B.A. Poorboy Futurity, Bedability Futurity, QHBC Classic Futurity, Red Earth Handicap, and Remington Park Derby. She is the leading money winner out of Cash Balance with earnings of $270,112.
The third stakes winner out of Cash Balance is Injun Plastic Cash, earner of $60,932 and winner of the Manor Downs Laddie Futurity-G3.
Six On The Beach is full sister to Six Figures and Fabulous Figure. This mare is the fourth stakes winner out of Cash Balance. She
won the Just A Second Stakes and was second in the Lone Star Derby. She is the dam of 13 foals/starters with 11 ROM and two stakes winners. Her son, Six Little Injuns, won or placed in eight stakes races going from 550
to 870 yards. He earned $121,500 winning five races, including the 2002 Manor Down Handicap III going 870 yards, and the Manor Downs Handicap IV going 550 yards.
Babe On The Beach is a full sister to Six Little Injuns. This mare earned $193,302
and was first in the Costa Mesa Handicap and a runner up in the 2001 Golden State Futurity-G1. She is the dam of 16 ROM
with two stakes winners, including 2007 All American Derby-G1 winner Dont Let Down.
Six On The Beach brings us through the tail female line that descends from Woven Web to Babe On The Fly.
The Woven Web tail female line through Balumba isn’t limited to the Cash Balance branch. Balumba is also the dam
of Wildflower, a 1971 daughter of Double Bid. She was a 3⁄4-sister to Double Poised, who was sired by Double Devil by Double Bid. Wildflower was an ROM earner on the track with one win in three starts.
Wildflower produced Some Kinda Wild by Some Kinda Man. She was a winner and the dam of Femme by Raise Your Glass,
who won the 1986 Trinity Meadows March Derby. Femme was named an AQHA Dam of Distinction in 2006. She is the dam of Femmes Frolic, the 1992 Champion Three- Year-Old Gelding, winner of the 1992 All American Derby-G1 and 1992 World’s Championship Classic-G1. This gelding was a finalist in 28 stakes races from 1992 to 1995, winning 14 of his 47 starts.
