Eysa Jess Jumpn (#3) & David Alvarez received every call winning the $700,000 Lee Berwick Memorial Futurity

Mr Coahuila (Game Patriot-Shes a Wild Babe) and Eddie Sanchez came in second for owner Emmanuel Villarreal and trainer Jose Sanchez III. The two-year-old gelding finished third in his Lee Berwick Futurity trial and is still searching for the first victory of his young career.
Five Bar Perry (Five Bar Cartel-Miss Classy Perry) gained ground late under rider Damian Martinez to finish in third place for owner Dennis Mills Partners and trainer Bobby Martinez. Five Bar Perry captured his trial heat in wire-to-wire fashion by 1 1/2-lengths and was the sixth fastest qualifier to the finals.
Zoomin Patriot (Jet Black Patriot-Zippy Zoomer) finished a close fourth and was fol- lowed by Mr Range Rover (Heza Fast Dash- Dashformoomoo), The Mighty Moose (Fast Prize Dash-Ko Ko Corona), Appolitical Black (Jet Black Patriot-I Jess Wear Nike), Sir Eye Opener (Sir Runaway Dash-Louisiana Eye Opener), Roster Man (Five Bar Cartel-Jessy Jane) and Smoken Cartel (Sizzlin Cartel-IB Dun Gone).
The Lee Berwick Memorial is named after the man who built Delta Downs in 1973 and ran the track through 1999.
