Hun E Do reeled off her third straight win, and her first-ever victory in stakes company, taking first place in the $21,290 Miss Ellen Stakes at Will
Rogers Downs on Oct. 16.
Breaking well from the outside gate in a nine-
horse field, Hun E Do had the lead by a neck by the time she entered the stretch and she cruised to the finish, beating post-time favorite Chicks With Coronas to the wire by 3/4-length.
Ridden by Gonzalo Gutierrez, Hun E Do covered the 350 yards in :17.630 for a 96 speed index while running into a 7 mph headwind.
After one win as a rookie last year, Hun E Do started her win streak on July 11 at Fair Meadows, then finished first in a Sept. 26 claiming at Will Rogers. Those consecutive wins gave her a $15,000 tag and placed her at 5-1 odds at post time for this stakes.
Ray Enlow owns, bred, and trains Hun E Do, a three-year-old gray filly who now holds four wins in 11 lifetime starts. The $12,634 payday from this event improved her total bankroll to $36,499.
Enlow bred Hun E Do out of First Place Fish, a lightly-raced 2008 mare.
Chicks With Coronas (Apollitical Blood-Cache Corona), tabbed as the favorite following her win in the Speedhorse Derby earlier this year, placed second for Sharon Hafliger and R.J. Ziegler. Casey Black trains and James Flores was on board. Ritas Back
On Track (Freighttrain B-Perry Story) was third for owner James Sills and trainer Eddie D. Willis. Justine Klaiber was in the irons.
Regal Dynasty (FDD Dynasty-Regally Rare), Peves Ima Eagle Too (One Fabulous Eagle-Ima Lazie Too), Corona Relentless (Hes Relentless-Coronas Concierge), A Pollitical Phoebe (Apollitical Jess-Special Ivory), DG Dreamer (One Dashing Eagle-Iza Sugar N Spice) and Olena Sangria (Dashair-Mt Rob This Corona) rounded out the order of finish. Z Corona was scratched.

Mammy Jammer, a 3-year-old daughter of the Cartel Success stallion CRM Livewire racing for Roy Kent Perkins, scored a mild upset victory in
the $15,000 Green Country Handicap for Paints and Appaloosas at Will Rogers Downs on Oct. 17.
Prepped by Ray Enlow and sent to post at odds of 6-1, Mammy Jammer went 350 yards in :17.775, and her winning margin was a neck from odds-on favorite and 130-pound high weight Southern Electric. Cody Wainscott rode Mammy Jammer.
The gray filly has won seven of 17 starts while racing exclusively in Oklahoma, and the $9,396 winner’s share of the purse from her fifth career stakes score pushed her bankroll to $110,610. The filly has won five of 11 races at the 350-yard distance and three of her five outs at Will Rogers Downs, including last year’s 350-yard $61,000 Pot O’Gold Futurity-G1 and 400-yard $44,000 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity Championship.
Mammy Jammer was bred in Oklahoma by Enlow, and she was coming off of a ninth-place finish in a 300-yard $9,600 allowance at Will Rogers Downs on Oct. 8. The filly is out of Dashin DD, a 7-year-old daughter of the A Royal Jet stallion Little Jungle Jet.
World Champion Southern Electric APHA (CRM Livewire-Ze Southern Girl QH) ran second as the 1-2 favorite and pocketed $2,982 for his owners, Dan and Kaye Jones. An earner of $289,778 from 25 starts in Oklahoma and Texas, the 4-year-old gelding was ridden by Cody Smith for trainer Ty Blackwell.
Giorgis Prize ApHC (Giorgino QH-Eye On The Prize) finished third under Justine Klaiber for owner Ralph Hartline and trainer Raymond Vargas.
Live Moonshine APHA (CRM Livewire-PRP Sedona Sunset), Snow Advisory APHA (Lota PYC QH-Snow Warning), and JS Shezaquickchick APHA (SF Royal Quick Flash-Cartel Chicken) completed the order of finish.
Sequoyah P&A Stakes
BULLY PULPIT APHA

Bully Pulpit has been named a Champion Paint racehorse in each of his previous three years of racing. He is laying claim to another possible title
this year, most recently by winning the $15,630 Sequoyah Paint & Appaloosa Stakes at Will Rogers Downs on Oct. 1.
Bully Pulpit and jockey Andrew Samaniego broke well in the 870-yard Sequoyah on the muddy, sealed track. But Giorgis Prize to their outside raced to the lead and beat Bully Pulpit to the turn. Those two easily drew away from the rest of the field. Bully Pulpit took over late in the turn and drew off to score by 7 1/4-lengths in :45.144 as the 1-5 favorite.
Ty Blackwell trains Bully Pulpit for owners Dan and Kaye Jones. Bully Pulpit was winning his 16th race and eighth stakes. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, he earned Championships in his age division, and in 2020 he earned his first Distance Championship.
Chuck Bowlan bred Bully Pulpit in Oklahoma out of winner Judys Apollo. Dan and Kaye bought Bully Pulpit from Bowlan as a weanling. Judys Apollo has produced two winners from three starters.
Giorgis Prize ApHC (Giorgino QH-Eye On The Prize), ridden by jockey Nakia Ramirez, trained by Raymond Vargas, and owned by Ralph Hartline, finished in second place. The 3-year-old filly most recently also ran second to Bully Pulpit in the Spots and Dots Handicap.
Michael Moss owns and trains third-place Apollos Second Sign ApHC (Second Painted Sign QH-Allies Apollo). Fernando Fonseca-Soto rode the 6-year-old mare, who was the 2017 Appaloosa Horse of the Year.
Completing the field were JNL Water To Wine APHA (Royal Quick Dash-JNL Champagne Lineage), Teejus Livin ApHC (Cartel Success QH-Boppin Js Fastball), and Mario Cat Tale APHA (Tales Not Told-A Special Judy).
