CR Tuckernuck and Fast Prize Tacita. Quions has produced
two winners in three starters, including 2019 Black Gold 350 Championship Futurity winner, Mr Dillard. Quions has another yearling, a colt by Flying Cowboy 123 named Cowboy Quions, who sold for $300,000 at this year’s Heritage Place Yearling Sale.
Mark and Fay Annette McCloy’s homebred Especially Goodcandy (Jess Good Candy- Especially Tres) finished second. Ricky Ramirez rode the filly for trainer Trey Wood. Especially Goodcandy also ran second in
the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity-RG1.
Dollar Bill (Kiss My Hocks- Jakes Painted Wagon), piloted
by Jose Herbert, trained by Juan Diaz, Jr., and owned by Genesis Tovar, ran third. The gelding had won six of seven previous races, including the TQHA Sale Futurity-RG1 and Sam Houston Juvenile Stakes. His only loss was a second in the Louisiana Downs Futurity-G2.
