He started racing in March with a second place in his trial for the Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1, qualifying for the finals, but finishing off the board. that he was “dancing at the break” and thus lost all chance. He came back on April 14 to win his trial for the PSBA Paint Classic Futurity-G1 and then won
the finals giving him a prestigious Grade one win early in his career. His next start came in the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 trials, qualifying with a win in his trial. This time he came back in the finals to run third behind the winner R Cowgirl and Whiskey And Rain, who was second. He moved on to the trials of the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 at Fair Meadows in Tulsa. He was third in his trial and qualified. The Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Series is an
important part of racing, allowing racing enthusiasts a venue to display their Paint & Appaloosa racehorses.
The series consists of the Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 at Remington Park, the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 at Fair Meadows, and the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Championship Futurity-G1 at Will Rogers Downs. The goal of the series each year is to see if one horse
can win all three races and earn the title of Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa
Triple Crown Champion. When
no horse wins all three races, the horse with the greatest number of points wins the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown High Point Championship. Triple L Xpress is the 2023 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown High Point Champion.
Triple L Xpress is owned by Planefun, LLC (Pat & DeAnn Duggins) and started in ten races with three wins, two seconds and two thirds, including one Grade one win
