Sheeza Lil Val is the dam of Valdarama,
a dual registered AQHA/APHA mare that was stakes placed with a second in the 2010 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity- RG1. She is the dam of Fade Shot, who is the dam of Power Fade, the 2020 Speedhorse Triple Crown High Point winner, who was
owned by the partnership of Kelly and Yother and bred by Kelly & Yearsley.
The second foundation mare is Three Dee Dreams, and she was a race mare

Her stakes winner is Answer The Dream, winner of the 2009 Juno’s Request-RG3. She became a broodmare for the partnership of Kelly Yother Equine LLC until she was recently sold to Rancho El Cabresto Inc.
The third foundation mare is Sky Chicks,
and we will let Kelly fill us in on how he came to own her. “My trainer at that time was Daryn Charlton, grandson of Wayne Charlton and there was a sale at Vessels
and that was probably the last time it was called the Vessels sale. He told me about this yearling they had that he really liked because he really liked her dam Star Crafted. I bought her for around $7,500. Daryn trained her for her first year.”
He continued about her race career. “Daryn got her broke and we put her away for a while as she was a big rangy mare. We brought her back in August with the Los Alamitos Million in mind. She broke her maiden in her first start with four more starts, including a win in her trial for The Classics Futurity and then she was second in the finals of that race.”
He then explained what happened in the target race. “When it came time for the Los Alamitos Million, which I think was the first time it was run, she was the second fastest qualifier and went into the finals as one of the favorites. The horse next to her slammed into her and that was all she wrote as she finished out of the money for the million.”
Sky Chicks continued to race, running in the finals of four stakes races in 1996 and going unplaced in all four of them. They were the Florentine Stakes, Fullerton Stakes, the Balboa Stakes and she qualified for the Southern California Derby-G1. Her total race record shows that she made 16 starts with four wins, three seconds and two thirds earning $47,912.
The sire of Sky Chicks is Chicks Beduino, the winner of the 1986 Bay Meadows Futurity-G1 and the 1986 Governor’s Cup Futurity-RG3. He was second in the Dash
For Cash Futurity-G1. He had a third in
