When asked which of his equine train- ees was the most outstanding, Trey said the fastest horse he’s ever laid hands on is in
his barn right now. “When Eyegotitgoinon runs, you can’t beat him!” Trey said of the gelding that won the Easy Jet Stakes-G3 and qualified to the Rainbow Futurity-G1, where he finished ninth after hopping at the start in his only career loss.
Although speed is the measure of a racehorse, heart is also part of the equa- tion, and in that category he ranked Lethal Delight and Mister WW on top.
“When you saddled them up, you knew they were going to do exactly what you wanted them to do,” Trey said.
“And Bodacious Dash—there was something about that horse that drove me to do this every day. He got to the point that I knew when we were going to run him, he was going to do everything he could to win.”
