ALL AMERICAN JUVENILE Trials: August 11-12 • Finals: September 4

The second five fastest qualifiers from each day of the All American Futurity trials are preferred invitees to the $200,000 All American Juvenile, which will be run on September 4.
On day 1 of the trials, the track started out fast under cloudy skies but by the sixth race the rain came and the track was muddy through the eighth race, then good, then fast again. Winds varied from tail winds, to cross winds, to head winds. On day 2 of the trials, the track was fast under cloudy skies and there was a head wind blowing from 5-20 miles per hour.
Apollitical Jess and Corona Cartel both sired two qualifiers to the All American Juvenile. There were two homebreds that qualified – Cristian Leonardo Alcala’s As Moonflash and John and Kathy Lee’s KJ Little Duce Coup. Trainer Toby Keeton qualified four to the event with Sandy Rose, BP Down For A Corona, Visa and Shoeless. Three jockeys rode more than one qualifier: Bryan Candanosa with Sandy Rose, Visa and Shoeless; Noe Garcia Jr. with A Polllitical Cluster and As Moonflash; and Francisco Calderon with Lethalcartelfavorite and Six Famous Eagles.
