 CYBER ATTACK SI 101, $1,685,355
No stranger to stakes races, Cyber Attack won last year’s Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity-G1 and has started this season off with a victory in the Ruidoso Derby-G1. The colt also finished second in this year’s Rainbow Derby-G1 and last year’s Golden State Million Futurity-G1 and Rainbow Futurity-G1. Cyber Attack finished fourth in his All American Derby trial to secure the sixth qualifying spot. The colt was bred by Steve D. Burns DVM and is owned by Rosenthal Ranch LLC. Eduardo Nicasio was in the irons for trainer Chistopher O’Dell.
WHISKEY CREEK SI 99, $21,318
Making four starts this season, Whiskey Creek secured his first victory in the All American Derby trials. Breaking in third under Juan Pulido, the gelding promptly secured the lead and was never headed to cross the line a neck in front for the seventh qualifying spot. The gelding was bred by Jim Streelman and Bill Dale and is owned by Wootan Racing and Roger Beasley. Toby Keeton is the trainer.
SICARIO V SI 97, $862,286
Sicario V came into the All American Derby trials undefeated in 2023 with two stakes victories under his belt for this season. He won the Rainbow Derby-G1 as well as the Ruidoso Invitational. It was no surprise that he proved best in his All American Derby trial. Breaking in second under Francisco Calderon, the gelding quickly secured the lead and made easy work of the 440 yards, crossing the finish line a neck in front to secure the eighth spot on the qualifying ladder. Sicario V was bred by Edward Allred and is owned by Valeriano Racing Stables LLC and trained by Santos Carrizales Jr.
HOOKED N GONE SI 102, $351,949
Already a 2-time stakes winner, Hooked N Gone won last year’s Remington Park Juvenile. This year, the gelding has made seven starts and won the Remington Park Derby-G1. In his All American Derby trial, Hooked N Gone broke in first, but was out finished and had to settle for second and the ninth qualifying spot. Hooked N Gone is a homebred for Regina Laymon. The Eddie D. Willis trainee had Justine Klaiber in the irons.
HES A JET ONE SI 95, $30,230
Hes A Jet One has made four starts this season, hitting the board in three of them. During his All American Derby trial, the gelding broke in eight and made up enough ground to finish in fifth to secure the final qualifying spot. A homebred for Pete Scarmardo, Hes A Jet One is trained by John Stinebaugh and ridden by Sergio Becerra Jr.
