ALL AMERICAN INVITATIONAL STAKES

The second ten fastest qualifiers from the All American Derby trials have earned invites to the $100,000 All American Invitational, which will be contested on September 3.
The runners competed over a fast track under cloudy skies with minimal winds.
There were two homebreds in the field: KJ Leader Ofthe Pack, bred by John and Kathy Lee’s L&L Land & Cattle, running for for John and Kathy Lee and Ruben Mares; and Jeriko running for breeder/owner Bobby D. Cox. Trainers Wesley Giles and M. Heath Taylor both qualified two horses to the stakes event. Giles trained KJ Leader Of The Pack and Codex; and Taylor trained Out Of The Way and Jeriko. Jockeys Adrian Ramos and Rodrigo Sigala Vallejo both qualified two horses. Ramos rode KJ Leader Ofthe Pack and Codex, while Vallejo rode Out Of The Way and Jeriko. One Famous Eagle was the only sire to sire more than one qualifier with Wirth The Wait and Jeriko.
